After appearing that his career at the Emirates may be over before it really began, the 23-year-old was recalled from his loan spell at Championship club Charlton – the third loan of his career – earlier this season, and has since stamped his authority on the holding midfield position in a fashion that we possibly haven’t seen since Patrick Vieira was at the club.
Now he has become one of Arsene Wenger’s most trusted players, it is only right that Coquelin be given a nickname. And it has fallen to our all-time leading goalscorer Thierry Henry to come up with it.

But the midfielder has revealed that he has found the nickname hilarious, and after speaking to the former skipper, he found out it is not the only surprise that could be coming his way.
“I was laughing, to be honest, when I heard that,” the Frenchman told Arsenal Player.
“Thierry loves a bit of banter so I got him on the phone after that as well. He actually said to me that he will make the fans sing a song about Colombo for me,” he explained.
