BBC pundit Garth Crooks has hailed Arsenal’s Sead Kolasinac as the signing of the season whilst criticising the Gunners supporters (via BBC).
Garth Crooks was once a free-scoring forward who made almost 300 appearances for the likes of Tottenham, Stoke and Charlton in the old First Division.
Now, Crooks his best known for his pundit work with the BBC and garners particular attention for his team of the week choices.
In this week’s article, Crooks has named Sead Kolasinac in his best IX.
“Kolasinac must be the signing of the season,” Crooks claimed. “He already looks like a player who has won the respect and admiration of his team-mates.

“The goal he scored against Swansea was well taken, but the move and assist for Aaron Ramsey to score was just fabulous football from the Bosnia-Herzegovina international.”
High praise, indeed but Crooks also took a swipe at Arsenal supporters during his praise of Kolasinac.
“Kolasinac only joined the club at the beginning of the season, and on a free transfer,” he went on. “Which really does knock the stuffing out of all those Arsenal ‘know it all’ supporters who have been caning Arsene Wenger for not spending millions on players the manager thinks are not worth it.”
Sead Kolasinac must be amongst the best signings of the summer but to claim that his success is a blow to some Arsenal supporters is ridiculous. The vast majority of Gunners fans were highly optimistic about Kolasinac’s signature and praised the club for the free transfer deal.
