Olivier Giroud has sent a clear message about his future, amid speculation he could leave, insisting he wants to stay at Arsenal.
The potential arrival of Alexandre Lacazette has led to reports that Giroud could be sold this summer, with West Ham and Everton both reportedly interested.
However, the France international, who only signed a new deal back in January, says he wants to remain in north London.
“I won a few titles in my career, that is an important thing, but there is another thing which is important for me,” he told Arsenal‘s official website.
“And that’s the people [see you as a] loyal warrior on the pitch – that you always give your best for the team. And that’s why I want to carry on my good journey at Arsenal and I always want to give my best.
“I would love to win another title, or maybe more until the end of my contract. The motivation is here, always doing your best to make your family proud.”

Despite a reduced role last season, Giroud still played his part for the team scoring 16 goals in all competitions for the club.
While Lacazette now looks set to arrive at the club, Lucas Perez is expected to depart while the future of Alexis Sanchez is still very much uncertain.
Giroud’s current deal runs until 2020 and it seems that he is no intention of leaving any time soon.
