Olivier Giroud says all the Arsenal players want Arsene Wenger to renew his contract and remain as manager of the club.
The Frenchman’s future at the club remains unclear with the 67-year-old having come under huge pressure after an awful run of form.
Reports on Sunday claimed that the Gunners had approached Thomas Tuchel to replace Wenger, which Arsenal were quick to deny.
However, Giroud insists that he and his team-mates are also behind the boss and believe he is the right man to take the club forward.
“We want Arsène Wenger to renew his contract, to continue his adventure, because we support him,” he said via The Guardian. “We hope we can win the cup and that Arsenal qualify for the Champions League.”
Arsenal face a tough task qualifying for the top four now having slipped to sixth place in the table after suffering four defeats from their last five games.

They do, however, have the chance to finish the season with some silverware in the shape of the FA Cup and will meet Manchester City in the semi-finals of the competition at Wembley.
Supporters meanwhile, remain largely torn over Wenger, particularly as there is a lack of an outstanding candidate to take over. Massimiliano Allegri appears the favourite but is also reportedly interesting Barcelona and could yet opt to stay at Juventus.
