Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez was reportedly involved in a dressing bust-up with Chilean teammate Marcelo Diaz after the midfielder took objection to Alexis assuming set-piece duties, The Evening Standard reports.
Diaz is Chile’s regular dead-ball specialist, however, Alexis took the two direct free-kicks which prevented themselves against El Salvador.
According to the report, Diaz also questioned Alexis’s commitment regarding a training session he supposedly missed while labelling him as a ‘greedy’ player and former Cardiff City star Gary Medel was forced to intervene with the two close to blows.
Alexis has since sought to play down the situation and claimed that he and Diaz have made up.
