According to The Mirror, Arsenal are interested in the talented 14-year-old star forward Yan Dhanda who currently plies his trade with West Brom.
The youngster shot to prominence when he won the Under 11s category in Chelsea’s ‘Asian Star’ competition in 2010, however was snapped up by the Baggies who have transformed him into a highly rated star.
He has reportedly already been signed up by Nike to receive sponsorship from the American Sportswear giants, which could potentially be very lucrative for all parties if the teenager lives up to his potential.
The England youth international setup have already put measures in place to convince him to represent them, as he’s received a call up for Under-16 side despite his young age.
Liverpool are believed to also be monitoring the situation, while the Gunners will look to add to their already impressive lineup of up and coming stars. Dhanda could potentially be a big player in the future, so if Arsenal’s scouting team feel he is up to scratch then that could be another exciting talented to add to the illustrious Academy.
He certainly has an eye for goal as you can see in his Youtube videos (see link below), and seems like he could become another ‘in the hole’ forward/attacking midfielder who most children seem to aspire to be these days!
