Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a January move for Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic, according to reports in Daily Mirror, with suggestions that he has fallen out with the club.
Apparently Mandzukic has fallen out of favour with Pep Guardiola after drawing some criticism for his lack of effort in training, and was consequently ignored for the Bundesliga leader’s squad in their 2-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach this weekend.
The 27 year old has developed a brilliant reputation over the years and played a vital part in their all conquering season last campaign. He has 10 goals in 16 Bundesliga outings so far, but former Barca boss Guardiola has opted to field the likes of Thomas Muller or Mario Gotze in the false 9 striking role instead and will fall even further down the pecking order when Robert Lewandowski arrives in the summer.
The centre forward remains under contract with Bayern until 2016, but there have been suggestions that Guardiola is ready to part ways with the striker and president Beckenbauer has dropped a major hint that the striker’s time at the Allianz Arena is up.
I see Lewandowski in the attack, his playing style is suited for (Pep) Guardiola’s ideas than that of Manduzkic.

There are even more reasons why he could leave – even without him, Guardiola could still count on Thomas Mueller and Mario Goetze in attack.
This is THE signing we need. I don’t need to say anymore…GET HIM WENGER!
