Liverpool have suffered a blow ahead of Saturday’s crucial Premier League clash with Arsenal with captain Jordan Henderson a major doubt for the game at Anfield, according to The Independent.
The England international has already been ruled out of the Reds’ clash with Leicester on Monday night with a foot problem picked up in training and is also a doubt for the game against Arsenal.
Henderson reportedly suffered the injury last week which the Reds expected to settle down but he is still struggling with a badly bruised foot and did not travel to the King Power Stadium.
The midfielder’s fitness will be of huge concern to Jurgen Klopp with Liverpool going into the clash with Leicester, fifth in the table a point behind Arsenal.
Despite beating Spurs last time out, Liverpool have struggled in 2017 losing to both Swansea and Hull in the Premier League and having been knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Wolves.
While they will be expected to beat Leicester, the champions’ shock decision to dismiss Claudio Ranieri last week, will surely have an impact on their performance.

Saturday’s game against Liverpool could also go a long way to deciding who finishes in the top four, with the race for Champions League spaces really hotting up.
Just five points separate Tottenham in second from Manchester United in sixth and two big names look set to miss out on Champions League football next season.
Arsenal will be out for revenge on Liverpool who won a thrilling game 4-3 at the Emirates on the opening day of the season , a match in which Henderson started.
Liverpool will also be without Dejan Lovren who has a knee problem while Daniel Sturridge is reportedly struggling with a virus and could miss out too.
