Alexis Sanchez was just 16-years-old when he made his debut for Chile, and the Arsenal star has given his fans a blast from the past by posting an image of his first game for the national side.
The Arsenal star was obviously always destined for greatness, and even as a teenager he was a top, top quality talent. His rise to the top was pretty phenomenal, and despite still being relatively young he’s already played in three of the world’s top leagues for Udinese, Barcelona, and Arsenal.
He really hasn’t changed that much in a decade either, and there’s absolutely no question about who the player in the picture below is:
The 27-year-old enjoyed a fantastic debut season at Arsenal, and last year he was unquestionably one of the standout performers in the Premier League. He was arguably unlucky to miss out on the PFA Player of the Year, with Eden Hazard really only clinching the title due to the fact he helped Chelsea clinch the title.

This season hasn’t been quite as exceptional for Alexis, and a combination of injuries and poor form have really impacted his campaign. He’s looked a shadow of the player he was last year at times, but recently that’s been changing somewhat. He’s been getting back among the goals more regularly and creating more for his teammates too, so hopefully next season he’s back to his best.
