Alexis Sanchez is doing his best to prove that he is in fact indestructible, sending a message to his fans ahead of his hopefully imminent return from injury. The Chilean is recovering from a hamstring injury picked up against Norwich a couple of games ago, and it was initially unclear when he’d be back. Things are looking positive however, with the 26-year-old living up to his man of steel reputation.
The former Barcelona star posted a morale boosting snap to Instagram, showing him back in gym training following his injury. Hopefully there’s more good news soon, and we see him back in full training sooner rather than later.

There were reports floating around that the Arsenal talisman would be back in action next week, potentially even returning in time to face Manchester City (via the Daily Mail). This would be a huge boon to our chances, and Gooners around the world will be waiting with bated breath to hear the news confirmed.
That said, we’ve shown that we are more than capable of winning without Alexis Sanchez, evidenced by our 3-1 win over Sunderland and our fantastic 3-0 victory over Olympiacos in that crunch Wednesday night fixture.

After a slow start Joel Campbell has really stepped up to the plate in the last couple of games, and while far from the finished product he’s shown glimpses of real quality. Mesut Özil is of course still pulling the strings in every game too, and we don’t look to be missing Alexis too badly.
Arsenal transfer news
Hopefully this enforced rest sees him return fully fit and at his best, as while he’s been solid so far this season, he’s nowhere near his best. When you consider his debut season at the club, we’re not even seeing the same player this time around.
