Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is in a race against time to be fit for the FA Cup final after resuming full training on Saturday, seven days before the Wembley showpiece.
The winger has played one league game since our 2-0 at Manchester City and is still nursing the hamstring injury which he suffered in our FA Cup victory against Manchester United in March.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was under similar circumstances this time last year and eventually missed out on the squad which dramatically ended our trophy drought against Hull City.
We have missed the 21-year-old’s directness in possession, especially in the last few weeks against teams that defend deep and in numbers.
Players capable of taking opponents on are crucial when trying to break down stubborn opposition and Oxlade-Chamberlain excels in that quality.

For a player who contributed so much to our FA Cup success last season only to miss out on the most important fixture; he will be desperate to feature against Aston Villa.
The midfielder posted on Instagram a snap of him working hard in training.
