Arsene Wenger has always had faith in Hector Bellerin, but few predicted his meteoric rise to the Arsenal first team in such a short period. He has quickly elevated himself and become a real fan favourite though, as well as being recognised for his achievements by being named the Catalan Young Player of the Year.
The Spaniard took to Instagram to reveal just how proud he was, showing himself pictured next to Barcelona’s Gerard Pique – where Bellerin played as a youngster.

Not only has Bellerin been excellent since he made the starting spot his own, but he looks to have an excellent mentality as well. He seems determined to push on and improve even further, despite already being one of the best right-backs in the Premier League. He looks more than capable of progressing and becoming one of the world’s best full-backs, and will hopefully achieve all that at Arsenal.

Having already displaced Mathieu Debuchy as the starting right-back, Bellerin has a bright future ahead of him, and may well earn plenty more trophies and awards in upcoming seasons to add to his Catalan YPotY.
