Serge Gnabry has seen his Arsenal career come to a bit of a standstill since his lengthy layoff with injury, but is hoping to force his way back into the side this season.
The young German star has been absent from our pre-season due to his commitments with the international youth set up. He was handed an extended holiday following his involvement in the European U21 Championships, but took to Instagram to announce his return to training.

Gnabry also revealed his mission for the future, and seems determined to force his way back into Arsene Wenger’s first-team plans.

The 20-year-old’s injury came at a terrible time, as Wenger was just starting to hand him chances with the senior team. His injury coincided with that of Theo Walcott, which again would have been a great opportunity for the youngster to stake a claim.

Hopefully there hasn’t been any serious long term damage, and he is able to continue his rise through the ranks at the Emirates.
