Vlad Dragomir, who arrived from ACS Poli Timisoara in the summer as our academy continues to undergo significant changes, has already caught the Arsenal bug after uploading a picture of himself walking with crutches.
Dragomir, who is Romania’s U-16 skipper, may have suffered the injury while on international duty but certainly looks to be suffering from a knee problem with heavy bandage strapped around his right knee.
A fleet-footed winger, Dragomir captured the attention of our scouts and is one of many youngsters signed during the course of the summer.
Andries Jonker, our academy director, has seemingly identified a shortage of talent emerging from within our club and sought to rectify that by scouring Europe for the best youngsters.
Arsenal news & rumours
Arsene Wenger has yet to comment publically on Dragomir which suggests that the 16-year-old will spend the foreseeable future playing in our development teams.

Hopefully, his injury isn’t too serious and we can see the winger develop into the player our scouts believe he can blossom into.
