We’ve got a tricky clash against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena this Wednesday evening, and the boys will need to be at their best if we want to repeat the performance we put in at the Emirates in the first leg.
The team looked in good spirits training ahead of the trip to Germany, and it looks from the pictures below as though there are no fresh injury concerns following our clash with Swansea.
If you were watching the game last Saturday, you would have seen Olivier Giroud limping off just before half time. Hearts were in mouths ahead of the team trotting out for the second 45, as with a host of injury concerns already, we really can’t afford any more players absent.
Thankfully the big Frenchman looks to be fully fit, and is therefore likely to lead the line against the German giants.

Alexis Sanchez has looked a little jaded recently, and after a truly bright spell he has struggled for form. Hopefully he’s back to his best on Wednesday, as we’ll need everyone to put in a real shift.
Arsenal transfer news
Consecutive wins over the Bundesliga side would put us in a fantastic position going forward in the group, but even a point would be a great result. Our first win put us back in the driver’s seat with regards to qualification, so getting anything from this game would just be gravy.
