Petr Cech made the controversial switch to Arsenal this summer (via the BBC), and looks like he could prove to be a massive signing for us.
The 33-year-old joined up with his new Arsenal teammates today for his first training session, and was snapped getting straight into action.
The pictures were released on Twitter via Arsenal’s official account, and Cech looks like he’s settling straight in.

We already had two solid shot-stoppers in Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina, but Cech is arguably a massive upgrade on both. He is the kind of keeper who can really take us to the next level, and is likely to be a huge boost in our bid for the Premier League title.

It may seem a bit harsh to replace Ospina after he did so well in his debut season at the club, but we need to be ruthless if we are going to challenge for the highest honours – and Cech is certainly capable of helping us do that.
