Jack Wilshere looks set to make an imminent return to action, with the 24-year-old back in full training ahead of our clash with Watford.
The England international has been out injured the entire campaign, and it was unclear whether he’d be back in time to play any part this season. It looks as though he’ll be back for the last few games though, and may even feature for England in the Euro 2016 Championships this summer.
This weekend is likely to be far too early for him, but at least he’s back training with the team.

Arsene Wenger believes Wilshere will feature for the U21s before he makes a return to the senior side (via The Sun), so he could still be a few weeks away. It’s hard to see him failing to make his return this season though, which is both good and bad news.

On the one hand, we really want to see Wilshere back as soon as possible. He’s been consistently blighted by injuries season after season, and what we really want is for him to get back to full fitness and get over his non-stop injuries.
The fact that he’s likely to be back in time for England duty this summer is slightly less positive though, as he could very easily re-injure himself by pushing himself too hard. He’s shown before that he’s a massive part of the England set-up, so if he’s fit Roy Hodgson isn’t not going to use him.
Arsenal transfer news
Hopefully Wilshere realises that his long-term future is more important than international glory this summer, and puts his club career ahead of England duty.
