Arsenal prepare huge swap deal for Manchester United target
The 24-year-old was forced off injured during our 3-1 win over Hull City last week – a match in which he saw a goal of his own sandwiched between a brace from Alexis Sanchez. He was visibly struggling after a clumsy challenge from former Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone, and was replaced in the second half by the returning Jack Wilshere.
He was reportedly likely to miss our game against Swansea this Monday, with Arsene Wenger claiming he was uncertain whether Ramsey would feature in the match (via Arsenal’s official website).
“From the Hull match we had Ramsey who took a big kick, he is getting slowly better. We have an uncertainty about him, he got a big knock on his fibula and we’ll see about that,” Wenger said in his press conference.
That may have changed however, with pictures emerging of the talented midfielder training ahead the fixture.

His inclusion in training doesn’t guarantee he will feature against Swansea, and it certainly doesn’t mean he will start the match. Wenger may be unwilling to risk him if he doesn’t have to, and with plenty of options available, you would expect him to start on the bench at the most.
Wilshere may get his first start since November if the manager opts to replace Ramsey with the tenacious midfielder once again, or we may see Theo Walcott restored to the lineup as a more traditional wide player. There are a number of other options, but the English duo seem the most likely.
