Jeff Reine-Adelaide looks to be one of the most promising young talents in our academy, and many are hoping to see him handed a first team opportunity. And the French teen may get his chance this Wednesday night, as he’s been seen training with the first team ahead of our trip to the Allianz Arena.
Reine-Adelaide looked hugely impressive in the Emirates Cup in pre-season, and after wowing the fans it looked as though he could be in line for a first team push. Injury halted his progress temporarily when the season began, and then he was whisked away on international duty with France for the U17s World Cup.
He’s back and ready for action though, and could get his competitive Arsenal debut against German giants Bayern Munich.
Here he is training with his senior teammates:
Also seen training with the first team was Alex Iwobi, who has been propelled forward in the pecking order following injuries to the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (via Arsenal.com).

Neither player is likely to start – especially after the solid performance put in by Joel Campbell at the weekend – but it’s highly possible that we’ll see one of them make a substitute appearance.
Arsenal transfer news
Reine-Adelaide really looks like a phenomenal talent, so the fact that he could play a part against the Bundesliga champions is an exciting prospect.
