Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals summer transfer window plans
We are known as a team who finishes strongly, and while that may not necessarily always have been true, we have a habit of doing what is necessary to get us over the line.
More often than not we have enjoyed better second halves of the season, but this year we have really outdone ourselves.
Our winning run finally came to an end when we drew with new Premier League champions Chelsea, but before that we were brushing aside all opposition.
The table below shows just how superb we’ve been, with a points per game average of 2.42 in the second half of the season. Even the Invincibles of the 2003/04 season weren’t able to match that number, with an average of 2.36 points per game managed by the legendary squad.
