Arsenal’s first-team stars have been put through their final paces and are ready to face Liverpool on Monday night, looking for our first home win of the new campaign.
With Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky the only players currently nursing injuries, the rest of the squad battled in the rain ahead of the huge Premier League clash.
As usual, a number of players posted messages on their various social media platforms informing us that they’re ready for the challenge, though they can only prove that on the pitch when the game kicks-off.
After the debacle against West Ham United on the opening day, the players delivered a strong response against Crystal Palace and showed the qualities we witnessed on a consistent basis at the back-end of last season.
Arsene Wenger’s starting XI will be interesting to see and whether the boss chooses to tailor our side specifically to face Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.
