Jack Wilshere’s injury woes have continued this season, with the 23-year-old suffering yet another fracture just before the campaign began. He looks to be on track for a return fairly soon, but will miss England’s next set of internationals, as reported by the The Telegraph.
England’s next two games are against San Marino and Switzerland in the Euro 2016 qualifiers next month, but Arsene Wenger insists there is no chance that Wilshere will feature.
“No,” the manager said, as quoted by The Telegraph.
“We believe that is too optimistic to think that he will be available for England. After the international break he has a chance but beforehand no chance.”
It seems as though Wilshere won’t be alone in the doctor’s office during the international break, as the Evening Standard suggest Danny Welbeck will also miss the fixtures.
We were all hoping Wilshere enjoyed an injury free season this time around, as his qualities have really been on display over the last few months. He was superb during the tail end of the 2014/15 campaign, and carried that form into pre-season as well.

It’s a shame he’s set to miss the first few games of 2015/16, but hopefully he can return and put a run of games together injury free.
