Hector Bellerin and Laurent Koscielny are apparently set to miss our North London Derby clash with Tottenham this weekend, with both players missing the loss against Bayern Munich with minor injuries, as reported by ESPN.
The report claims the pair are “major doubts” for the game, quoting Arsene Wenger during his post-match conference.
The manager was not confident of the chance either player had to be fit for the crunch derby game, with our injury crisis worsening at a terrible time.
“Bellerin I don’t think will be available for Sunday and Koscielny has a small chance,” he said.
“From tonight we have no more injuries, apart from in their heads we have no more injuries.”
Both players are a huge loss, as the pair have become crucial to our setup. The Spaniard has been brilliant since his emergence last season, and Mathieu Debuchy’s less than stellar performances so far this season have made Bellerin all the more invaluable.

We have a much better backup to Koscielny in Gabriel Paulista, but losing the Frenchman is still a big blow. He is unquestionably our best centre-back, and his absence was immediately noticeable against Bayern Munich.
Arsenal transfer news
We should still have enough to get the better of Tottenham, even with our lengthy injury list. We need to get these players back asap though, or our season could begin spiraling downwards dangerously.
