Inter Milan have reportedly joined the race to sign Alexis Sanchez, according to Italian newspaper Gazzzetta dello Sport.
The report claims the Serie A side could be willing to move for the Chilean, as they attempt to revive the club, backed by Chinese owners Suning.
While the club have struggled on the field recently, finishing seventh in Serie A last season, they can certainly afford Sanchez’s huge wage demands.
The Chilean could also be tempted, having spent time in Italy previously, playing for Udinese for five years, prior to signing for Barcelona.
Recent speculation has claimed Sanchez has demanded £400,000-per-week to stay at the club, and there are also fears he could leave next season for free if he choses to stay but does not renew.
While Arsenal are loathe to sell Sanchez, Inter may prove a move attractive proposition than Manchester City, who have been heavily linked.

There are also reports today that Chelsea could reignite their interest, should Romelu Lukaku head to Manchester United, rather than back to Chelsea.
Sanchez, for his part, seemed to suggest he knew where his future lay, speaking at the Confederations Cup recently, although he was in no mood to reveal it.
The arrival of Alexandre Lacazette may well soften the blow somewhat, should Sanchez leave, but whatever he intends to do – let’s hope we can get a decision soon and not let this saga drag on any longer than it has to.
