Yesterday’s game was a farce! Top of the league, we were outplayed in all departments. I can understand the fans’ frustrations at such a performance but calling for Wenger’s head is a bit too dramatic.
Wenger was not the one on the pitch. The players were and the players are the ones who should look at themselves in the mirror and hang their heads in shame. It is about time we accept talented as Ozil is, he cannot carry a team and should be benched. He has to earn his place in the team and not expect to be an automatic starter. Wilshere is nowhere near the finished article and decided he was too talented to do anything like tracking back which he believes is beneath him. I had high hopes for Monreal but last few games have made me realize sadly he is not the defensive rock I had seen at the beginning of the season and no Giroud, you definitely are no Suarez.
The game against Manchester United has become a must win. This is against a team we have had a recent dismal record and have a psychological edge over us. To win that I think we should have a change of personnel. Rosicky should be drafted back in to the team, as well as Gibbs and Podolski. Ozil and Wilshere should be relegated to the bench.

For all the fuss about yesterday’s game, its still one game. I get the feeling Wenger is not signing his contract because he wants to try and win the Premier League and then leave the club just like Fergie did. It’s painful when you don’t see your efforts been appreciated. If these fickle fans get their wish and Wenger goes, get ready for seasons of mediocrity and not making it to the Champions League. Oh, and if you think you have seen mass exodus at the club, you ain’t seen nothing yet. No man is bigger than the club but the reason these players stick around is because of the manager.
We all know the saying, ‘Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!” Arsenal’s fans need to start to appreciate Wenger’s efforts and start to back him or he will go somewhere else where he will earn respect. There are plenty of clubs that are waiting to receive him with open arms.
