The last two weeks have been more tense than ever for Arsenal fans and critics and very few are talking. There is no denying that the month of March is Arsenal’s make or break month. Critics are waiting to see if Arsenal will fail at the last hurdle while fans are desperately hoping their team will not let them down. It’s almost amusing.
It is still perfectly poised. When Arsenal won Everton and Manchester City lost to Wigan in the FA cup, there was a sense of relief and a feeling that Arsenal were finally going to win a trophy or at least have a very good chance to win the cup, no disrespect to Wigan and the remaining teams.
The game against Bayern Munich was one no one really knew what to expect. While the result did not really spring any surprises, it was still one that you would not want to write off Arsenal. So Arsenal came out of that game with a respectable one all draw and no one is none the wiser on which Arsenal team will show up against Tottenham tomorrow. As much as Ozil has been a key figure for arsenal, I am happy that Rosicky will be the one playing tomorrow as he seems to always have good games against Tottenham. I will not be surprised if he scores a couple tomorrow.
If Arsenal make the mistake of losing tomorrow, their season as far as the league is concerned will be over and critics will be harsh with their judgement. Chelsea managed to win Tottenham while playing badly and if Arsenal cannot do the same, then they will be branded failures. Arsenal fans will be massively disappointed after leading the league for such a long period only to fall as usual.
Still if we win tomorrow, nothing changes and we will all move on to the next game with bated breath. This game is all or nothing,
