Former Spurs midfielder Garth Crooks has warned their fan-base that Arsenal could potentially win the double this season after the 4-1 victory against Liverpool on Saturday.
Already in the FA Cup semi-finals, we look like the only team capable of taking advantage of any potential slip-up from league leaders Chelsea, and it is certainly giving Crooks nightmares.
Having won the FA Cup last year and finished only seven points off the top of the league, the double was a realistic target last campaign and it’s something which is feasible this year too.

BBC Sport quote Crooks as saying: “Once again Alexis Sanchez produced some blistering football in a 90-minute display by Arsenal that must have left Tottenham fans very concerned about a possible League and Cup double by their north London rivals.”
“Can you imagine? It’s enough to make you want to cry!”
Our last double came in 2002 and should we miraculously repeat the feat, it would be Wenger’s third FA Cup and Premier League double in his tenure at Arsenal.

It is just a shame that there isn’t a fixture at White Hart Lane coming up so we can claim a third league title at their ground!
