Arsenal have enquired over the services of Dinamo Zagreb’s 17-year-old central defender Tin Jedvaj and are in discussions with the club according to the players agent.
allArsenal.com reported recently that the Gunners were heavily linked with the Croatian prodigy, with Roma believed to be in the driving seat for his signature. Rivals Spurs are also in on the act as per usual, with both England clubs contacting Dinamo directly.
Agent Zoran Ban feels anything can happen with his client, with Roma not matching the asking price and the north London clubs also in the running to acquire the talented youngster.
He told calciomercato.it:
At a certain point, Dinamo raised their demand whilst Roma wouldn’t improve theirs.
Meanwhile, clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham have called Dinamo and they are dealing with them.

Would I say Roma are out of the game? In football you never know, anything can still happen.
Jedvaj, dubbed the Croatian Maldini, made his senior debut for Dinamo Zagreb this year and has managed 1170 minutes in 13 games for the Croatian champions. He netted his first senior goal in a 1:0 victory against Cibalia away and has been a regular member of the U21 and U19 grades of the Croatian national team setup.
The centreback’s potential is huge and if the Gunners can secure him for around €6m it will represent a good bit of business. He can be loaned either back to Dinamo or elsewhere around Europe/England to develop and become a part of Arsenal’s future. The most important thing for the youngster is to gain experience and minutes on the pitch.
Should Arsenal bring him in this summer?
