Jose Mourinho looks to be continuing his feud with Arsene Wenger, hitting out at Arsenal after the fans chanted: “Boring, boring Chelsea” at the weekend.
The Blues were clearly set up to play for the draw this past Sunday, which is exactly what they got from the goalless fixture.
They looked to be running down the clock right from the first whistle, and were content to sit deep and wait for us to push forward.
With no recognised striker starting the game, they rarely forayed into our half. There were a couple of threatening counter-attacks, but for the most part they were playing not to lose.
This frustrated our fans no end, with many directing boring chants at the visitors. The chants may have touched a nerve, with Mourinho clearly taking exception to the accusation.

He claims we are the boring ones, slamming Wenger for his lack of trophies over the last decade.
“You know, boring I think is ten years without a title. That’s very boring,” he is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
“You support the club and you’re waiting, waiting, waiting for so many years without a Premier League title.
“The ‘boring’ team is the one who has scored the second most goals in the Premier League. It’s the team with the best goal difference.”
Having never managed a team without practically bottomless resources, Mourinho has no idea what it takes to keep a team competitive without spending big.
It would be interesting to see the Portuguese manager take charge of a team struggling financially, but no doubt he would still have an answer for everything.
