Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho took another jab at Arsenal after the Portuguese coach saw his side drop two points at home to Southampton to leave themselves six points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Mourinho asked is Arsenal’s momentum a threat? “Which momentum? 3-1 against Monaco, or 3-0 against West Ham? Which momentum?”

We were trailing the Blues by six points before their game against the Saints with them still to visit the Emirates Stadium in April, and the lead has now been stretch by just a point.
Man City remain in second place and focus has been shifted on Arsenal’s potential title challenge, but the Chelsea boss was quick to dismiss our title hopes.

Mourinho’s constant mentioning of Arsenal represents two potential possibilities; either he’s genuinely scared of us, or he’s obsessed.
He may suffer from memory loss too, citing our Champions League defeat even though his side were knocked out at home by 10-man PSG on Wednesday night. Chelsea have also now drawn their last two home games and he may want to also check the form table to understand what the press are saying.
We have won eight of our last nine league games and also won three cup ties during that period to book our place in a semi-final at Wembley for the second successive season.
As unlikely as it is, it would be unbelievable should we overtake them to claim the league title.
