Juventus have made an official bid of €30 million (£25.7m) for Alexis Sanchez, according to Italian newspaper the Corriere dello Sport.
The report claims the Serie A champions are confident the Chile international will leave Arsenal in the summer and can be lured to Turin.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men have stepped up their efforts to land the 28-year-old in recent weeks and believe Sanchez will fit perfectly into their system.
The Chilean is out of contract next summer and is believed to have turned down all offers from Arsenal and is eyeing a summer exit.
However, Juventus’ offer of €30m, if the report is to believed, is likely to receive very short shift for arguably one of the best players in the Premier League.
While there is a growing sense that Sanchez may well depart in the summer Arsenal will be looking for a significant profit on the £35m they splashed out to land him from Barcelona.

The 28-year-old has again proved Arsenal’s key man scoring 20 goals in all competitions and also sits joint top of the Premier League goalscoring charts alongside Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku with 17 goals.
While replacing Sanchez would prove an immense task, the Gunners are frequently linked with a number of top forwards including Alexandre Lacazette, Marco Reus and Andrea Belotti.
Indeed the latest reports have suggested Lacazette will cost Arsenal £60m which only serves to highlight once again how far out Juventus are with their bid for Sanchez.
