Laurent Koscienly has been struggling with a knee problem recently but played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday, and Wenger did not specify his current injury.
Granit Xhaka, meanwhile, was forced off against Jose Mourinho’s men after suffering a recurrence of an ankle problem although Wenger was more optimistic about his midfielder.
“We have some worries for Koscielny he might not be available, he will have a test today,” he said at a pre-match press conference.
“We will make the decision after training. Xhaka similar but he looks to have recovered well, news for him is better.”

Sunday’s victory has boosted Arsenal’s hopes of finishing in the top four and Wenger knows his side have to win all their remaining games.
“We had a bad spell but we have recovered from it. We need to show we can be consistent until the end of the season,” he added.
“It gives us confidence to create that momentum but if you look at the schedule we play Wednesday, Sunday, Tuesday.
“We have to use the squad in a very efficient way. Everybody in the squad needs to contribute at the right moment.”
Southampton managed to hold Liverpool to a draw on Sunday, although the Reds will rue a missed penalty from James Milner.
Claude Puel’s side have now gone four games without a win and will be well aware Arsenal thrashed them 5-0 on their last visit to St Mary’s in the FA Cup back in January.
