Alexandre Lacazette has revealed that he has taken an Arsenal youngster under his wing, helping new signing Matteo Guendouzi to settle in at the club (via The Sun).
It’s clear that Arsenal’s summer signings have settled well into the club in the last few months.
The likes of Lucas Torreira and Bernd Leno have held down starting spots in the Premier League with Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Matteo Guendouzi not far behind either.
It must have been hard for Guendouzi to move to England at the age of 18 but it seems as if one key player is helping the former Lorient man settle in at the Emirates.
“I really enjoy playing in this team and with this group of players,” Alexandre Lacazette said.
“Matteo came over from France in the summer and we spend a lot of time with him.

“He’s young and maybe when he signed he didn’t know too much about the professional life at a big club, so we had to help him with some things.
“It’s nice because he is happy to learn and we always have fun together.”
It must be good for Matteo Guendouzi to have a player like Alexandre Lacazette help him in that way. The 19-year-old has settled into the team well so maybe Arsenal can thank Lacazette for that.
