Arsenal are facing up to a bit of a defensive shortage ahead of the trip to Anfield and Unai Emery’s starting XI is likely to be put together with what’s left available at the back. Laurent Koscielny is expected to be fit despite a knock against Brighton midweek.

Mesut Ozil is likely to be out of the team again after an inept display against Brighton, which could mean that the soon to depart Aaron Ramsey is given the nod to feed Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
