Arsenal have reportedly been told they will have to pay £60 million if they want to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer, according to the Telegraph.
The report claims the striker will cost £48.7m plus £10.6m in add-ons and the club have already held talks with the Ligue 1 side about a potential transfer.
Lacazette appears to be back on the agenda after a proposed move to Atletico Madrid fell through after Diego Simeone’s side failed in their attempts to get their transfer ban lifted.
Arsenal appear in the hunt for a top striker having also reportedly had a huge bid for Kylian Mbappe turned down and while Arsene Wenger remains in the hunt he is believed to be realistic about the club’s chances of landing the teenager.
Lacazette appears a far more attainable target with both player and his club having admitted he is expected to leave after a prolific season where he scored 37 goals in all competitions.

However, Arsenal will need no reminding they came close to signing Lacazette last summer only to fail to be able to agree a fee, and may face more competition this time around for a player who is coming off the back of an impressive campaign.
