Jack Wilshere has been absolutely sensational for club and country recently, and has attracted the attention of our Premier League rivals. Manchester City are looking to bolster their homegrown numbers, and apparently a £30m move for the England international is part of their plan to do so, according to the Mirror.

The 23-year-old struggled with injuries once again this past season, and spent much of the campaign on the sidelines. He was phenomenal on his return however, and has really started to look like the complete midfielder in recent weeks.
Goals have always been missing from Wilshere’s game, and his lack of goals combined with his injury problems were really holding him back – and saw him quickly overtaken by Aaron Ramsey. He looks to be changing things now though, and a fantastic goal against West Bromwich Albion followed by an equally impressive brace for England really look like helping him take his game to the next level.
It would be madness for us to even consider selling Wilshere to Man City, and it would be crazy for Wilshere to accept a move. He may well struggle for game time at the Etihad, as they constantly spend big on new stars. He is also still the future of our midfield, and if he can remain injury free for any length of time then he will hopefully make himself a permanent fixture in the side.
