Manchester City are preparing a £30million move for England international Jack Wilshere this summer despite Arsene Wenger insisting that he has no intention of selling the midfielder, the Mirror reports.
As the soon-to-be former champions aim to make considerable changes to their ageing squad, their scouts have been alerted by Wilshere’s lack of involvement in the first team, says the story.
However, Wenger has previously denied reports of a move away for Wilshere whilst reminding many that the times of the club selling our best players was long gone, as the Mirror suggests.
Arsenal transfer rumours
Rather, we now have the capacity to buy established stars such as Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil which would make Man City’s potential move for Wilshere unrealistic.
Despite his various injury problems, few can deny the talents of Wilshere and with Santi Cazorla reaching the twilight of his career, the time to cement a place in the team has arrived for the 23-year-old.

Let’s pray we keep hold of him, and that he stays fit in 2015/16, and maximises his otherworldly potential.
