Manchester United v Arsenal
Barclays Premier League
Kick off: November 10, 2013 4:10 PM BST
A very disappointing display from an Arsenal side who have been in blistering form. Didn’t really start playing until the last 20 minutes, with a few players looking tired and playing with a lack of desire. Here are the player ratings:
Wojciech Szczesny | 7.0: Couldn’t really do much for the goal, didn’t have any outstanding saves to make, but did well especially after being knocked unconscious in the first half.

Bacary Sagna | 8.0: (MotM) Was fantastic today for Arsenal, his crosses looked very dangerous throughout the game and someone really should have got on the end of one of them. Also did well against Evra and Kagawa despite picking up a yellow card.
Laurent Koscielny | 7.5: Was really solid despite not getting as much protection as he normally gets, and lining up with Vermaelen instead of Mertesacker.
Thomas Vermaelen | 7.0: Was decent despite his lengthy absence from the first team, but we really missed the tall German tonight I think.
Kieran Gibbs | 7.0: Was a good going forward tonight, popped up in the box a couple of times.
Mikel Arteta | 7.5: Was solid and reliable as ever in the midfield, which was far more than can be said for the rest of the Arsenal midfield. Really kept the midfield calm and composed when it needed to be.
Mathieu Flamini | 7.0: Was decent on his return, was taken off early on for Wilshere though.
Mesut Özil | 6.0: The German playmaker was extremely poor tonight, misplacing passes all over the place, often at key moments and during counters. Had moments where he showed his class, but he seemed to have a lack of desire tonight.
Santi Cazorla | 6.5: Had a few uncharacteristic poor passes, and seemed to tire towards the end of the game.
Aaron Ramsey | 6.5: Didn’t play well pushed out on the right, also had a few misplaced passes. Our attacking midfield were just not on their game tonight.
Olivier Giroud | 6.0: A poor game from the French front man, his hold up play was poor in the first half, and there were a few crosses into the box that he should have at the very least got his head on.
Jack Wilshere | 7.0: Made a huge difference when he came on, his drive and determination was something the other players just weren’t showing.
Nicklas Bendtner | 6.5: Wasn’t on the pitch for too long, but didn’t show the energy and aggression you expect to see from a late substitute, should really have got his foot on one of Sagna’s crosses. Let Smalling through for an easy goal which thankfully he missed.
Serge Gnabry | 7.0: Was barely on the pitch, but his impact was instantaneous. His pace caused Evra some problems, and he got a few great crosses and cut backs in.
