Arsenal took on Atletico Madrid in Singapore in the club’s first match of the pre-season tour.
Pre-season is a chance for the club’s new head coach to get across his style of play on the players who will be looking to build fitness.
The International Champions Cup in Singapore will also see this new-look team come up against some of the best sides in Europe as today, the Gunners took on Atletico Madrid.
It was a hard-fought fixture, not to dissimilar to the one which was played at the Emirates in the Europa League semi-final first leg three months ago.
