Well, that was an entertaining one. Arsenal’s approach to the big matches at the Emirates hasn’t been far off all out attack and that certainly continued this evening.
The Gunners took the lead in this one with Jack Wilshere’s first Premier League since 2015.
The Blues hit back via an Eden Hazard penalty and a late Marcos Alonso goal but in a wonderfully attacking match, it was far from over.
The Gunners pushed forward in the final stages of the match and when a difficult half-volley fell to Hector Bellerin, few Arsenal fans held out any hope. But the Spaniard controlled the ball tremendously well to put it into the far corner and equalise.
