It was always going to be an emotional match as Arsene Wenger managed an Arsenal side at the Emirates Stadium for the final time.
Burnley were the opponents looking to crash the party but their hopes were dashed within the opening ten minutes.
Arsenal’s two record signings, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang combined as the Gabon international opened the scoring.
Lacazette made it 2-0 before half-time as the Gunners came out after the break in the mood to entertain.

Sead Kolasinac added a third, Alex Iwobi a fourth before Hector Bellerin squared the ball as Aubameyang made it 5-0.
With the game safe, Arsene Wenger had the opportunity to bring on Per Mertesacker for his final Arsenal appearance at the Emirates Stadium.
Danny Welbeck hit the crossbar with a fine effort late on but there were no more goals as Arsenal gave Arsene Wenger the perfect Emirates send off.
