Joe Willock scored two and Alex Iwobi grabbed a third as the Gunners progressed to the next stage of the FA Cup.
Team News – Player Ratings – Match Highlights
Match: Blackpool v Arsenal
Stadium: Bloomfield Road
Kick-Off (UK Time): 17:30 05/01/2019
You’d be forgiven for thinking that this was a home match for Arsenal considering the ratio of the supporters in the stadium.
Arsenal certainly played like the home side this evening, taking an early lead when Joe Willock followed-up on a deflected Aaron Ramsey free kick to score.
The Gunners made it 2-0 before the break when Willock again seized upon a loose ball to steer it into the back of the net.
Eddie Nketiah should have added a couple more with some big chances of his own before Willock’s third goal of the night was ruled out for offside.
