Arsenal do not like playing away from home in the Premier League.
The Gunners haven’t got a single point away from the Emirates in domestic competition all year but things looked to be changing early on in this match.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang picked up the ball down the Arsenal left and after racing into the Newcastle penalty error, played a fine square ball for his strike partner, Alexandre Lacazette to score.
The stage was set for Arsenal to kick on an dominate this match but they just didn’t.

Instead, Newcastle played a long through ball and after some good buildup play down Arsenal’s left, DeAndre Yedlin whipped a low cross in for Ayoze Perez to score.
Things stayed relatively the same after the break but it was the home side which took the initiative. Newcastle pounced on an error from Nacho Monreal as Matt Ritchie raced in to score past Cech.
