In the two decades that Arsene Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal, he has never lost a third round FA Cup match.
That record came to a grinding halt this evening as the Gunners ran out 4-2 losers to Championship side, Nottingham Forest.
The visitors took the lead through Eric Lichaj but the Gunners hit back through Per Mertesacker. Lichaj added a second late on in the first-half before a dramatic second-half.

The home side were awarded a penalty to make it 3-1 before Danny Welbeck pulled one back moments later.
The comeback was ground to a halt later when referee John Moss awarded yet another penalty to the home side. Kieran Dowell stepped up and replays showed that he hit his penalty with both feet while slipping. He found the back of the net but the referee awarded the goal.
Forest were later reduced to ten men but by that time, the tie was over.
