Despite his successes with Arsenal, Mesut Ozil seems to have retained a soft spot for his previous clubs with the midfield ace posting a snap on Instagram last night celebrating the Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Schalke.
Ozil began his professional career at Schalke in 2006 before moving to Werder Bremen.
The German then signed for Real Madrid in 2010 before he moved to the Emirates in 2013 for a club record £42 million fee.
And he’s been worth every penny!
