The 20 year old, who is under contract until 2018, has scored 18 goals in 29 league appearances for Standard Liege this season and is being described as the rising star of Belgian football.
The striker, who has also been linked to Everton, is keen to move to a new club at the end of the season with Arsenal being his preferred destination.
According to Sky Sports, he said:
I don’t think I will play for Standard next season.
I want to move on. Maybe I will think about a longer stay if we play in the Champions League, but I want to progress as a player.
My preferred destinations are England or Germany. If you ask my favourite team, I’ll say Arsenal.

It is a club with a good philosophy, where youngsters get their chance. I’ve been an Arsenal fan since I was a kid.
Arsene Wenger’s number one priority in the summer transfer window is expected to surround signing a striker to support Frenchman Olivier Giroud who is showing signs of flagging in the final third of the season after leading the Arsenal attack for much of the campaign.
Batshuayi is a striker who can also play on either flank. He has fantastic dribbling ability and possesses unbelievable pace and power. He is also very good in and around the box, with a tremendous leaping ability and can terrify opposing defenders both with the ball at his feet and in the air.
He has already shown that he is a very versatile player with an immense amount of raw talent. He will obviously have to hone his skills to succeed in a much more physically demanding division like the Premier League, but one cannot teach physical talent.
He has shown signs of increased maturity over the last 12 months both on and off the field, resulting in calls for him to be handed a place at this year’s World Cup in Brazil. He will reportedly cost us around £10 million, which seems a real bargain for a young striker who also has a decent experience at the top level too.
