Jose Mourinho is doing his best to distract the public from his side’s disastrous start to the campaign, and has once again dragged Arsene Wenger into his latest whinge about the FA and his recent fine, as reported by The Independent.
The Chelsea boss has been ranting and raving about the £50,000 fine he was hit with following his side’s 3-1 loss against Southampton, with the Portuguese manager claiming referees were too “afraid” to award his side penalties. It’s just more of his anti-Chelsea conspiracy nonsense, something even sections of the Chelsea fanbase are starting to grow tired of.
He doesn’t mention Wenger specifically, but references the fact that the Frenchman called Mike Dean “weak” and “naive” following his shocking decision to send Gabriel Paulista off and leave Diego Costa on the field in our controversial 2-0 loss against Chelsea.
“It is more difficult for me to understand is when I compare different people with different behaviours or with similar behaviours, with different words or with similar words,” he said.
“I know I’m not English. I know my English is just good enough to work in this country, but is not perfect. But the difference between ‘afraid’ and ‘weak and naive’, the difference is £50,000 and a one-match stadium ban.
“The word ‘afraid’ is a punishment – and a hard punishment. But to say the referee was ‘weak and naive’, referring to one of the top referees in this country and in Europe [Mike Dean], we can do. The only good thing of this last decision by the FA is that every manager in this country can write in a little book and, when he goes to the press conference, he knows that “afraid” costs £50,000. Weak and naïve, you can use.”

This is yet another case of Mourinho failing to understand that when you act like a total ass, you get treated like a total ass. Did Wenger overstep the mark by calling Dean weak and naive? By the letter of the law, yes, he probably did. But there are a couple of big differences between our manager and Jose Mourinho.
With Wenger, subtle critique of the officials is the exception rather than the rule. Mourinho makes a habit of sarcastically taking digs at referees though, and consistently blames everyone other than himself for his side’s failures.
Also, Mourinho seems unable to see the difference between questioning a decision made by a referee, and constantly accusing referees of conspiring against him and banding together to generally screw him over. He’s a delusional halfwit, and seems to care about nothing but making headlines.

Mourinho just doesn’t understand that he can’t do and say whatever he wants, and has convinced himself that he’s the victim and the world’s against him. Grow up Jose!
