Arsenal have suffered a further setback ahead of the FA Cup final with reports that Shkodran Mustafi could also miss out due to concussion, according to BBC Sport.
The Gunners are already without Laurent Koscielny due to suspension while Gabriel is expected to miss out after suffering a serious looking injury against Everton on Sunday.
Mustafi could now join the duo on the sidelines with the report claiming he suffered concussion against Sunderland with the symptoms developing after the game.
Arsenal had originally expected the Germany international to be fit to face Chelsea on Saturday but he is now doubtful due to the problem.
Should Mustafi miss out that would leave Arsenal severely depleted in defence with Rob Holding and Per Mertesacker their only fit and available senior centre-halves.
Having missed out on Champions League football, Arsenal will be desperate to finish the season a high by winning the FA Cup and will be preying Mustafi can recover in time.

Antonio Conte’s side have been prolific in recent weeks, scoring five against Sunderland on Sunday and four against Watford before that and will likely be favourites to lift the trophy going into the game.
While Arsenal have beaten Chelsea this season, they will want their strongest XI available for the game and will be hoping for some good news on the injury front this week.
