Arsenal target Yann M’Vila has issued a come get me plea of sorts after for the first time publicly admitting that he likes Arsenal and wants to come to the Premier League.
The French hard-man has been a known target of Arsenal for a while now, but it seems for now that the Gunners are holding out on Rennes’ asking price of £17m according to the Daily Mail.
If signed, it of course demonstrates Arsenal’s intent on challenging for trophies next year and should hopefully have an impact of the retention talisman Robin van Persie.
M’Vila is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail:
I have heard Arsenal are interested in me. I like Arsenal and I like the Premier League.
I don’t know what is happening with the clubs, but yes, I would be interested in the Premier League and Arsenal.
The signing of M’Vila has been on the wishlist of many Gooners for a while now and with the signing of Podolski and the potential signing of Ligue 1 top-scorer Oliver Giroud things could be looking promising at the Emirates.
The combination of Podolski, Giroud and Van Persie up front with the likes of Wilshere, M’Vila, Song and Arteta in the middle signifies a very strong squad in terms of quality and more importantly depth, a trait lacking at Arsenal for many seasons now.

What do you guys think? It is clear that M’Vila is on many of your wishlists, but if he did come to the Emirates how would you re-shuffle the first team? Would you push Song on to have a more attacking role? Would you stick with Wilshere and Arteta and have M’Vila as the defensive midfielder? Or course the line-up depends on the situation, but feel free to share your line-up below!
