Premature reports that suggested an agreement had already been made in principle between Arsenal and M’Vila obviously should have been considered speculation until official news surfaced.
M’Vila has hinted towards a move to Arsenal in the past, but revealed yesterday he has little idea where he will end-up next season or which clubs are actually interested in signing him, despite essentially revealing in April that Arsene Wenger called him earlier this year.
He is quoted as saying by SkySports at France’s pre-Euro training camp:
I don’t know where I’m going. I don’t even know which clubs are interested. But it’s the right time to leave.
I am still under contract but I think I will leave.
Even with the European Championship coming up, I will be leaving. It is the right time to move on.
In any case, M’Vila is virtually guaranteed to be plying his trade at another club next season but himself admitted that nothing will not be made concrete until after Euro 2012.

M’Vila is quoted as saying by Goal.com to RMC Sport:
I think my future will be resolved after Euro 2012.
I do not think about it. I am only thinking about the France team. If I have to sign in August, I will. The France team comes first.
After looking at a good number of Gooner’s opinions, it is fair to say that the signing of M’Vila is pretty much on everyone’s wishlist. For now though, we will just have to be patient and just admire the talented defensive midfielder play for France in Euro 2012 until he reveals his future after the competition.
